Shadow Mountain, then.

When the club opened in 1946, Palm Desert was barely a town. The pool, the diving tower and the courts drew the valley in — and the grounds have been in play ever since.

The Grounds

A club built for the long afternoon.

Twenty-seven courts, a pool that has anchored the valley since 1946, and a pro shop stocked for people who actually play.

The main pool at TTC Palms

The Pool

The heart of the property since 1946 — and still the best seat in Palm Desert on a summer evening.

Courts framed by desert planting

The Courts

Tennis, pickleball and padel across one campus, lit until 10pm when the desert finally cools.

The TTC Palms pro shop

The Pro Shop

Paddles, strings, shoes and demos — Selkirk, Joola, CRBN and more, right off the courts.

Patio lounge and fire pit

The Terrace

Fire pits, shade and a full bar — where matches get relitigated long after the last point.

Junior program player

Junior Academy

Learn, play, grow. Year-round coaching from first racquet to tournament draw.

Food and drink at the club

Dining

Casual, unfussy, and open to the courts. Exactly what you want after three sets.

Play

Three sports. One campus.

12

Tennis

Lit for evening play, with league and tournament programming year-round.

12

Pickleball

Dedicated courts and open play daily — the fastest-growing corner of the club.

3

Padel

Glass-walled padel, still rare in the desert, and the quickest game to fall for.

Serve & Splash family festival at the pool
Community

Serve & Splash, and the rest of the calendar.

Family festivals, junior clinics, member mixers and community meetings. The club has always been the valley's living room — the programming just keeps it that way.
